Good skiing areas, BUT ...
Unfortunately they have sold the parking areas to one of those pirate companies that only care about making money. I.e. download the app and give them your credit card number.
Don't go there unless you have your parking covered.

Be with you v6 wonderful slopes, good skiing. Lovely barbecue areas and a nice new spa. Everything was great and the food in the ski club was awesome👍👍🔥
However, I have a wish that you should be able to buy a lift pass only in Björnriket, we do not want to go anywhere else but still have to pay for it, it feels boring. Klövskö has that option so would be great if you could introduce it too👍
Otherwise, everything was super good and you have a fantastic ski resort, maybe heat in the chairlift then🤔but rather cheaper lift tickets
We give you ☀️☀️☀️☀️av five and it depends on the cost of the lift pass.

Went there for a couple of days at the end of February this year. We had a fantastic day with sun and 2-3 degrees below zero. The advantage of Björnrike is the drop height and the length of the slopes. You have time to work yourself warm without boring transportation in between. The disadvantage is the lack of newer chairlifts. Those that exist today are not nearly enough. Sharpening SKISTAR.

Nice slopes, good drop and long slopes for Swedish mountains.
Missing more chairlifts for the highest rating.

Björnrike is a fine facility that really deserves a five in the rating. Long, wide and nice, slopes with varied gradients, large children's area, a really good park and a lot of easily accessible off-piste means that most people can find something they like. In addition, in the best sun position! In addition, there are nice cross-country trails, although they are somewhat limited in scope. There are also some really good eateries, a surprisingly good ski shop, and an ICA store with ski-in/ski-out, which is particularly nice.

What pulls down the rating is that the resort is completely neglected by Skistar. No new lifts or slopes have been added in the last 15 years (except for a small transport lift). The area has long anchor lifts that could be replaced with chairlifts. In addition, many of the lifts are of Eastern European standard, rusty, stink of oil and make such a noise that staff occasionally need to work with hearing protection. They also seem to dislike opening up lifts and slopes all the way from the top. Even though there is snow, you have to get off halfway up. And to top it off, evening skiing has been reduced to a joke consisting of a children's slope, which also ceases after week 10.

So to summarize, the facility is really awesome, but Skistar is running it into the ground.

The mild winter in the mountains left its mark at the beginning of 2025, but it quickly turned around! We were there the whole family v7 and had fantastic days. Magically nice slopes, and great ski school for the kids - the children's area in Björnrike is hard to beat even for the little ones (the mini park is fun!). The view from the top is incredible, and even afterski delivered (Bageriet among others). The drop of 470m gives long nice carving runs and less time spent in the lift.
Very nice and helpful staff.

Terrible! The lifts close early, the slopes are poorly maintained, icy and closed. Many lifts only run halfway and the snow machine operator has probably taken a day off. The area has potential but is extremely poorly managed and the staff like to close the lifts and slopes. Long queues and few slopes that close at the slightest gust of wind or snowfall.

I was in Björnrike several winters as a child and learned to ski there. The coziness factor is astronomically high and Björnrike is perfect for families with children. You have a good selection of skiing from black steep slopes to child-friendly blue and green. Highly recommended!
