Bjursås

Bjursås, or as they proudly call themselves, Dalarna's Switzerland, boasts 21 slopes and a great park. The vertical drop is 135 meters, and this charming ski resort usually leaves people with a positive impression.

Bjursås has around 5000 inhabitants and is located just north of Falun, where many of the residents also work.

The ski resort has become known for its focus on park skiing, with many local skiers and snowboarders frequenting the area.

For families, it's hard to find a better place to visit. There are plenty of activities for both young and old. Accommodations are available right next to the ski slopes. There are varied slopes to suit all tastes.

Some say that the lifts and the warming hut are old, while others argue that they have heart and character.

You can, of course, go skiing in various ways - cross-country, downhill, or even sideways. Even though there is only one black slope, remember that we are talking about Dalarna's Switzerland.
