The cottage has views towards the slopes and surrounding mountains, with ski tracks approximately 50 metres away. The nearest lift is about 650 metres away under favourable snow conditions, when the winter trail, snowmobile track or cross-country ski tracks can be used.

Arrival day is Sunday or Thursday. The ski centre at Fjätervålen, with lifts, shops and a restaurant, is approximately 1.7 km away by road. Pets are welcome, and the cottage has Wi-Fi, a sauna and a drying cabinet.
