Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis

Ski resorts in Austria
Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis is not the name of one, but three villages together forming a ski region in Tirol. Serfous is the trinity’s largest village and is also known for having successfully built a small subway with four stations, albeit its low number of residents. One of the stops is at the parking area outside the village, meaning there are not many cars in the village itself. The smallest village, Ladis, is well known for its sulfur springs and mineral water.

With three villages in the same ski region, it’s far from being small. The ski area’s highest peak, Masnerkopf, is at an altitude of nearly 3,000 meters and is located at the region’s far west. You find Ladis at 1,200 meters at the most eastern location, which is also the system’s lowest point. To get as far away as possible from Masnerkopf you shouldn’t go east to Ladis though, but rather north, until you can’t go any further.
