Fjällbyn is an older, well-preserved part of Stöten, with semi-detached cabins originally built in 1982 and renovated in 2013. The area is close to the Ranch lift, providing convenient access to the ski area and suiting skiers who want to be near a lift for beginners and children in particular. The atmosphere is small-scale and family-oriented, with a clear connection to Stöten’s early ski accommodation.
The 39 cabins are semi-detached, with cosy, well-planned interiors and space for 4–6 people. They suit smaller groups and families, and two families can stay in separate halves of the same semi-detached house, close to one another but with separate accommodation. The renovation has given the cabins more modern comfort without removing their original character.
