A rejuvenating treatment for the animal to improve its performance on hard ground and at low speed.
The side lines have been lengthened to the extremities to reinforce its hold, its flex has been homogenised, its heel lightly drawn-out and its tip enlarged. With better weight balance, this freeride beast has an improved performance on hard snow and has gained precision.

Strengths:
great ski, loves charging big lines and fun in softer snow too. remarkably stable for how playful they are!

Weaknesses:
Delaminated after just one year (20 days riding max)

Summary:
Really disappointing. I love these skis but unlike all my other Black crows they began to delaminate after only a year of use. I contacted customer support at the time and was told they simply didn't think it was a problem that the warranty would deal with. A year later and the other ski has started to delaminate also and I have to get them glued by my ski tuner every time I take them for work. My tuner has said it should definitely be a warranty with the lack of impacts on the front of the skis but further attempts to message the warranty department have been ignored. Great skis but occasional manufacturing defects not covered by warranty apparently and customer service seem to be just ignoring me.

Strengths:
All! These planks are magical!

Weaknesses:
Due to the construction and dimensions, it is relatively heavy and I have chosen to drive shift on mine, of course you won't be the fastest when you go up, but you will definitely have the biggest smile on your face when you go down!

A very small minus for quality around the tip and tail where there is no steel edge as the coating can loosen, but a strong tip is to marinate with a little epoxy/glue all around before anything happens to strengthen it!

Summary:
Now maybe all piste racers will be chasing me for the rest of their lives, but this ski can do it all and then some. It is so crazy all-round that half would be enough. I've had my pair with me on snow-poor opening weekends, icy walls, slushy Easter racing and Swedish powder and trot or not, some nice corduroy mornings and the Animan is a joy in all conditions. When I bought these it wasn't on the cards to have these as a quiver since it's still a 115 waist with a lot of tip and tail rocker, but Animan showed me how wrong I was. The Animan's construction is absolutely perfect, it is hard enough to be able to offer a nice edge grip and be one's best friend when the ice invites you to dance or when it is really messy snow but at the same time be fun, playful and a little jib at lower speeds. These boards are by no means the lightest and neatest on the market, but trust me when I say that it really doesn't feel like a 115 waist when you ride it. I have tried many different skis in this segment, both narrower and wider and different types of rocker, etc. but I can say without a doubt that these planks tick absolutely the most areas of use and an incredible number of different types of skiers! I have combined these k2 Recon Pro and k2 Mindbender boots and g3 trail skins and it has been a great combo to always have proper gear for any ride but also have the option to be able to do faster tours. Would take this setup to any trip that totally for these skis breathes riding joy!

I ran mine mounted on +1, and have run them on recommended as well. Think +1 is the way to go!

Strengths:
ALL. They are playful, respond well to speed and are incredibly stable. Not at all fluttery like many other similar skis can be. Works almost as well in icy Lindvallen as powder-filled Chamonix.

Weaknesses:
The topsheet breaks easily on impact. But the coatings and edges hold all the better, which is the most important thing.

Summary:
Incredible skis and if mine were to break, I would buy new ones.

Strengths:
One of the best skiing I went on.
Works well in pillows, steepskiing, backcounty-freestyle and okay even in piste. Fun skiing to take in untouched terrain or piste.

Weaknesses:
Even the weaknesses I can find is that they weigh some and that unfortunately they have broken at lighter bangs that demanded superplastic molding. Mine and others' pairs have got the bottom of the tie off at the tail and mine also got a big crack in the coat during the tie. May be due to hard driving but I have perceived it as a production failure.

Summary:
Cruel skiing that is quite versatile. But watch out for the quality.

Strengths:
Playful powder slide

Weaknesses:
a good skier is required to work well in piste

Summary:
A fantastic off-piste skiing, playful, easy and manage despite its width. The shooting is very good. Thanks to its playfulness, it is very easy to handle in the powder, you can find a nice flow in the field.
