DEUTER Alpine Back System
1. To ensure a stable balance and to preserve strength when carrying medium to heavy loads in alpine terrain the Alpine Back System keeps the load close to the body’s centre of gravity. The Softstripe pads on these slim-line alpine backpacks adapt flexibly to the wearers back with every movement for a close and reliable fit. The channel between the pads provides extra comfort by creating a “chimney” effect ventilation.
2. Extra stability adds the removable seat pad to the carrier system.
3. Ergonomically cut, S-shaped shoulder straps fit like gloves – no rubbing against neck or arms. The backpack also boasts SL Soft-Edge comfort straps.
4. Fine-tuning to suit the terrain enable load adjustment straps on the shoulder straps and hip fins.
5. Optimum load distribution via compact hip fins. They also keep the backpack firmly in position. With PE-reinforcement on the bigger models.
6. Freedom of movement on difficult stretches: Removable, pivoting Vari Flex hip fins follow complex body movements, which saves energy and provides great freedom of movement even in difficult passages.
