Aerotherm was originally developed for NASA and space travel and is therefore capable of blocking both extreme heat and extreme cold. It offers up to 8 times better thermal performance than any other material in the world, weighs just slightly more than pure air and doesn’t require loft to maintain its insulation capabilities like down or other synthetic padding.
