| Information | The Backcountry was designed to get you out there. A Praxis favorite from the beginning, we’ve focused our efforts on making the ski even lighter for touring while trying not to compromise the integrity and feel of the ski. The smooth, slow tip with modest rocker (that is relative and complimentary to the modified sidecut) makes the ski nimble and maneuverable in soft snow, while the low camber combined with a smaller sidecut allow for smoother turn initiation and quickly transitioning from edge to edge. Originally designed as a touring ski, the Backcountry has grown in popularity as a lift access ski and is no stranger to the resort. The Standard Edition Backcountry is offered in a #2 flex with an ultra light core and bamboo topsheet. |
