Information Based on the same geometry as the award-winning Second Opinion 118, but with a waist measurement of 108 mm and a slightly shorter radius. This width in the Opinion Series is for skiers who want a versatile freeride ski to use every day over the entire mountain, regardless of snow conditions. For this winter, the construction is identical to the wider Second Opinion 118, which has made the ski 15% lighter and more playful. The opinion series' construction and rocker profile are optimized for soft snow conditions, but can also go on sharp turns on harder surfaces. Second Opinion 108 is an ultralight fiberglass ski (1900 g at 186 cm) made with a wooden core of resilient poplar and light paulownia. In tip and tail, we use the ultralight honeycomb material Tubecomb to minimize the swing weight of the skis. The harmoniously smooth indented cut, together with the long and low rocker in tip and tail, really gives a fantastic flow and an incredibly easy-to-ride feeling in soft snow. Second Opinion 108 is the right choice if you are looking for a versatile freeride ski for all snow conditions. If you are looking for a wider ski for the deepest powder days, Second Opinion 118 is a good alternative.
