Information Mothertree is the world's first community-developed freestyle ski for girls and has been developed together with the women's ski network InspireUs. The ski and the unique development process were awarded the international and prestigious ISPO Award 2016/17. The ski is designed to suit female skiers who want a playful and versatile freeride ski to use all over the mountain and in all its different snow conditions. The skis go fantastically on slopes in the piste, but like all wide skis, the Mothertree 105 comes into its own in softer snow. Since the skis are light in weight, it is just as good to fit a fixed binding as a top tour binding. Mothertree 105 is an ultra-light fiberglass ski (1650 g at 172 cm) made with a wooden core of resilient poplar and light paulownia. In tip and tail, we use the ultralight honeycomb material Tubecomb to minimize the swing weight of the skis. The retractable cut, together with the progressive freerider rocker in tip and tail, provides good flow in soft snow but also good edge grip on harder surfaces. If you are looking for these riding characteristics with an all-mountain ski with a shorter radius, Mothertree 95 can be a good alternative. If, on the other hand, you want a more powerful and performance-oriented all-mountain ski, Project 100 Woman may be the right choice.
