Information The Project series is developed to conquer the demanding and often very mixed snow conditions of our home mountain in Åre. Project 83 is a completely new ski model and also the most piste-oriented in the entire Extrem Ski range. The skis are developed for those who are looking for a slightly narrower all-mountain ski with great performance and edge grip, yet a playful character. This new model is based on our two very successful all-mountain skis, Project 90 and 100, but has been fine-tuned to optimize the piste performance. The great advantage, compared to a regular piste ski, is that Project 83 work so good in a wide range of snow conditions. Without sacrificing any performance, you can ski everything from icy pre-season to the spring snow slopes in April. This is a perfect ski for those who are looking for a super fun and versatile piste performance ski that is quick from edge to edge in all kind of slopes. Project 83 have little bit lower elliptical rocker profile compared to Project 90 and 100 to optimize performance on the piste. On hard-packed snow you will have a long and effective edge grip, but the rocker also adds floatation in soft snow. The skis are built with race rubber dampening membranes to minimize vibrations and two layers of titanal for maximal torsional stiffness and stability.
