| Information | We finally decided it was time to let the hard-charging rippers on our production floor design a ski from the ground up, from shape to core construction. The result is Factory 112, a big mountain slayer with a stable yet nimble feel, using all the collected knowledge from our crew to create the ski of our own dreams. The Factory 112 is a ski that is just as home laying big turns down massive faces in the Alps as it is zipping between tight Scandinavian mountain birch. Stable at speeds, playful when you want it to be – the Factory 112 simply rips. The construction features a snappy poplar wood core, combined with a thin metal strip underfoot for added edge grip and power. The extremely refined rocker profile makes the ski float like a dream and smear turns with ease, while still holding an edge on harder snow without any problems whatsoever. All in all, all this creates a ski with a progressive flex and plenty of power. In other words, the Factory 112 is the ultimate big mountain ripper if you ask the skiers on our factory floor. |
