Information The FS 01 120 is an all-mountain freeride boot designed to achieve perfect flex, power transfer and shock absorption. The innovative hybrid construction with convertible/overlap combines the best of both worlds: the snug fit and edge control of the overlap construction, and the progressive stiffness of the 3-piece design. Together with the patented Phaenom Strap, the FS 01 120 provides rebound, shock absorption and exceptional flex control. The elasticity of the strap provides noticeably improved push through your turns, increased power transfer, precision in turn entry, comfort and predictability. The boot is designed for a particularly good fit to your feet and comes with three different inserts (flip chips) that allow forward angles of 13°, 15° and 17°. The stylish, all-black design is ideal for both recycling and repairing the boot and its components. Every component of this product - from panels to buckles, straps and screws - is designed to be repairable or recyclable. Key features: - Designed for disassembly, promoting circularity - Fully removable and replaceable parts - All-black TPU shell increases recycling compatibility - Inner boot: 50% recycled materials - Anatomically shaped spoiler - 50% bio-based cushioning EVA sole - ISO 23223: alpine boots with improved walking soles - Adjustable forward angle: 13° / 15° / 17° Shell technology: - Phaenom Strap: The innovative Phaenom Strap provides superior shock absorption and flex control from a single recyclable material. Together with the hybrid convertible design, it creates a unique linear flex pattern, which provides a smooth feel and push throughout the turn, providing more comfort and stability. Although the boot is forgiving, you get more control and responsiveness at both low and high speeds. Designed with a large grip to facilitate use and fine-tune the fit around the upper part of the shell. - Recycled materials: The shell is made with 15%-30% recycled TPU. The insoles are made with 30% recycled EVA. Every part is designed with reduce, reuse and recycle in mind. - Oversized buckles: Clean design, engineered to ensure durability and ease of use. Less is more. Made from 100% recycled aluminum. 100% recyclable! 100% repairable! - ISO 23223 - Alpine boots with improved walking soles: Safety first. Our soles are built according to ISO standard 23223. Easier to walk with without affecting the function of your alpine bindings. - Replaceable anatomical spoilers: Fully customizable to ensure ergonomic and precise grip around the calf and your preferred forward angle. Available in different thicknesses. The spoilers can be adjusted 5 mm in height for a tight fit around the calf muscle. - Adjustable forward angle: The upper linkage of the walking mechanism is adjusted vertically and allows forward angles of 13°, 15° and 17° (the boot comes assembled in a 15° position). Inner boot technology: - Construction: With thinner and stiffer foam (approx. 6mm). The inner boot is designed to be as sustainable as possible without sacrificing ride characteristics. Using as much recycled material as practical without compromising the product's properties and durability. The foam is recycled, the fabrics have a minimum of 50% recycled content, the insole is made from 50% bio-based EVA and all woven straps and laces are made from 100% recycled materials. - Bio-based vibration-absorbing outsole: The checkered outsole is designed to absorb high and low frequency vibrations that travel up through the ski boot, making repeated landings more comfortable and reducing foot and calf muscle fatigue throughout the day. The outsole's extra grip and design make it robust enough to be used alone after skiing, or on the journey to and from the ski slopes. Made from a minimum of 50% bio-based content. - Elastic laces: The inner boot's laces provide a tighter and more responsive feel while skiing and walking. - Calf stabilizer: The TPU plastic is precisely placed around the calf and shin bone, distributing pressure to eliminate pressure points. The extra support also helps to provide a better snow feel and increased ski control. - Self-molded foam: The premium, ergonomically designed, recycled foam quickly molds to your feet after one or two days of skiing. Heating the liner is possible and can speed up the process, but is not necessary. - Phaenom x Lenz insole: Developed in collaboration with Lenz and highly regarded orthopedic specialists, these pre-molded insoles provide extra support, comfort and help prevent fatigue. These insoles can be further customized to your feet at an authorized dealer. The result is a precise and high-quality fit. To top it all off, the insoles are covered with an ecological mesh material that draws moisture away from your feet yours. The insoles are made with 30% recycled EVA and cork under the heel to further help absorb vibrations.
