| Information | Freeride Touring Ski. The Countdown 4 is our narrowest and lightest model, specifically designed with high-performance touring bindings in mind. We have modified the dimensions of the Countdown 3, removed the twin-tip for better skin attachment, and added our new glass/carbon layup to reduce weight. A progressive sidecut with a 29m radius in the tip and an elliptical tail achieves a remarkable combination of directional stability and easy turn initiation. A medium stiff flex is combined with minimal shape for high-speed reliability while retaining a playful nature. Short straight sections in the tip and tail make for a very responsive, yet stable feel, providing lift and support without hooking. |
