Information Difficult Snow Specialist. V sits right there on the fringes of reason. A narrow, reverse-sidecut ski? Yes. Why? Because reverse sidecut skis perform so well in difficult snow conditions and heavier powder, where you don't want excessive width to torque your lower body or bounce you around up top. R/R means that there is much less drag when turning and no sidecut that needs to be engaged to turn. As the tip and tail are narrower than the waist, you will never catch a tip or hook a tail. The continuous taper from underfoot into the tip and tail slices through everything without effort. Skis have been made like this for over 5000 years, this is just the latest version of a tried and true design.
