| Information | 917 With inspiration from one of the most uncompromised and outstanding racing car there has ever been.....the Porsche 917....this ski is as compromiceless... and...917 and its predecessor "Ace of Spades" are the first rockerd pist skis in the world and most likely the entire Universe... This ski turns every aspect of ski design upside down...and infact...it shows that nothing in traditional ski design is valid anymore...in the development of this ski every parameter in ski design has been questioned...and the result is a ski that carves like no other ski out there... The 917 takes carving into a new dimension...There is simply nothing like this ski out there...They’re butterish between turns...... Reacts instantly...... In fact, they turn even before you have even thought the thought: Turn...grip is rock solid and they can handle extremely tough carving...when race-skis give in these just wants more...But be aware, they are extremely aggressive and they are only for the very skilled... Construction is Pure racing.... Titianal, prepeg glass, ash woodcore and rubber, rubber and more rubber. Duckstance and a very refined technique is required if you want to take fully advantage of these beasts...the design idea is "everything not needed stripped away" for maximum performance... This is one hell of a "state of the art ski"... |
