| Information | Introducing the Piste Jib, new for 2013! This new model is built off the same shape and design platforms as our former MTN Jib model. The former MTN Jib model was a great do-it-all everyday ski, but a little fat to take through the park, bumps, or groomers, and not necessarily fat enough or the correct shape for powder skiing. However, knowing how much we liked the hard snow characteristics of the Jib, we took the old model, sized it down to 99 mm underfoot and POW, you’ve got a ski that will slay park features and zipper lines (Switch? Anyone?) with the best of them. Also, one of the distinguishing features of the Piste Jib is a pure, hard maple vertical-laminate core, that gives the Piste Jib a ton of power. While this special core is a perfect fit for this smaller-underfoot ski, it also provides better edge hold and an extremely durable construction...an incredible addition to anyone’s quiver! |
