Bliz VOLT

Bliz Volt. A world-class alpine speed helmet that excels in all areas, with limit-breaking performance. Volt is the result of testing in laboratories and wind tunnels, but also tests conducted with Ski Team Sweden Alpine. Volt has a shell in pure carbon fiber that offers low weight and a high level of safety. It has an EPS-core with EPP reinforcements. The helmet is also equipped with a MIPS system, which protects the brain in case of a crash. It lessens and absorbs the rotational damage, protecting the brain. Emergency Quick Release System™ makes the helmet easier to remove in the event of an accident. Material
Volt is built with an ultra light and ultra stiff carbon fiber shell. The core is made from an EPS layer with additional EPP reinforcements.

Safety
The outer shell made from carbon fiber gives Volt superior performance in a collision, compared with similar helmets in other materials. The EPS core protects against bumps and blows in a crash, and the EPP reinforcements at the front and back of the helmet offers additional safety to those areas. The MIPS system is mounted closest to the head and gives the brain a crucial damage against rotational damage that occurs in a crash. MIPS absorbs and reduces certain damage in a crash by allowing the head to move 10-15 mm, reducing the energy transferred to the brain. In case of an accident, Emergency Quick Release System™ makes removing the helmet easier through detachable earpads. Volt meets the requirements of FIS.
