Highly compressible and efficient, the Stance Belay Hoody is our midweight belay jacket built with PrimaLoft®. It packs easily, yet still offers ample warmth on shady north faces, spindrift-filled belays and blustery summit ridges.
When the ground is 600 feet below and the crux WI5 pitch looms overhead, the pressure goes to the leader, but the belayer gets the warm Black Diamond Stance Belay Hoody for on-route comfort. Our midweight synthetic belay jacket built with PrimaLoft® Silver Hi-Loft insulation and a lightweight Pertex shell, the Stance Belay Hoody easily compresses into a bullet pack, repels nasty mountain weather and insulates even when wet. Hand, chest and internal drop pockets store gloves, food and other essentials.
