The idea behind STL was to make a playful and resilient twintip, but at the same time super stable! The perfect combination of woods was finally found and you ended up with a slightly stiffer mid-ski (maple wood) and lighter and softer tips (aspen wood). With lower weight in the tips, you spin easier, and as Steele Spence says it himself: "I almost do not feel I have skis on my legs!"
STL has already become a reference ski within twintips! A sure winner !!
