What happens when a skier with Jacob Wester's skills and imagination takes Elf Shoe Tech into the terrain park? It becomes clear deep snow is not the only application for rockered, variable sidecut skis. Jacob proved that rocker opens up a whole new spectrum of angles on take-offs and butters, while variable sidecut ensures plenty of stability on landing and between features. We took the idea, ran with it, and came up with the Alpha 1—a first generation park-specific ski for the next generation of true freestyle skiers.
