The Atomic Maverick 96 CTI is an all-mountain ski for skiers who want the same ski for everything – from hard piste to softer snow, bumps and tree skiing. The 96 mm wide waist and All-Mountain Rocker profile (20/65/15) provide good edge grip on hard surfaces while the ski is easy to get into turns and has enough buoyancy when things get loose.
The core is a Power Woodcore in ash and poplar that provides stability, energy and a smooth, natural flex throughout the ski. The so-called CTI Powered construction reinforces the wood core with carbon fiber and titanal. This provides higher torsional rigidity, less vibration and a damped, controlled feel at speed without the ski feeling sluggish or difficult to force. The result is a ski that goes calmly and stably when you push, but is still compliant and easy to handle.
The HRZN 3D tip increases the surface area at the front, which improves float in softer snow and keeps the tip calm in varying conditions. Meanwhile, the Directional Shape contributes to good edge grip and stability through turns, especially on piste.
