Atomic Redster Q 9.8

The Atomic Redster Q 9.8 is a pure piste ski that draws much of its DNA from Atomic's World Cup-winning Redster series. With Revoshock, Power Woodcore and a Titanal-reinforced laminate, it has clear racing genes - but without being built solely for gate skiing or speed suits. The flex is slightly softer than pure competition skis, which makes it more accessible to skilled, but "regular", skiers who want a lively and stable piste machine.

This is also the widest piste ski in our test, with a full 84.5 mm underfoot, which provides extra stability and makes it a little more all-round than the most narrow, classic race-inspired models.
