ISPO Gold Award Winner 2014-15 for the most exceptional off-piste ski in the world! Opinion is the first crowd-developed ski ever, created with the help of hundreds of dedicated skiers in a forum thread with 1.600 member posts, 800.000 visits and one year of development.
The entire Opinion series is optimized to float in powder and let you rule in slush and other soft snow, but at the same time be able to ski with plenty of pressure on hard packed. Opinion 118 are true freeride skis optimized for all off-piste conditions out there – powder, tracked powder, spring snow, wind packed, crust – you name it and Opinion 118 will conquer it.
The harmonious tapered tip and tail, combined with our low-rise rocker creates a great balance and a supreme flotation in powder. The ski is made out of snappy poplar wood and stable beech wood, in combination with the ultra-light aerospace material Tubecomb in tip and tail for lowest possible swing weight. This has created a ski that is playful and easy to manoeuvre, but which also shows full performance at high speed over bumps and on hard packed.
