Based on the same modern geometry as Opinion 98, but with an ultra-light carbon fiber construction, which makes the skis unique on the market. This playful and freeride-oriented top touring ski is optimized for soft snow conditions, but despite its low weight can also withstand all snow conditions thanks to its stability and cushioning.
Carbon2 is the flagship construction in Extrem Ski's range with its two molded layers of pre-preg carbon fiber and pre-preg fiberglass. To further reduce weight, and increase performance, we use a very advanced hybrid core of poplar, bamboo and Isocore foam together with the ultra-light space technology material Tubecomb in tip and tail minimum possible swing weight. In the length of 186 cm, the weight per ski is 1500 g.
Just like the regular Opinion series, the Opinion 98 Carbon2 is more playful and fast from edge to edge, while the Opinion 108 Carbon2 is the right choice if you are looking for more stable and more free-riding-oriented driving characteristics.
