Hendryx 917 (2013)

If Porsche can update the GT3 RS to a 4.0, we can update the 917. It has been around for a while and last year's model was still cruel but not crueler than it can be improved. During the winter, we learned an incredible amount from riding at Kobra GLH. We developed this for a completely different type of piste skiing and on top of that it opened up for even more development of modern piste skiing. We immediately felt that this had to be transferred to 917. What is special is that you can change technology at lightning speed on these skis. You can drive everything from awesome inserts to set up the skis in the entrances, so-called stivoting, to push to an oldschool slalom turn. This opens up a whole new type of riding. This is a ski that has a great cut but at the same time it is very easy to break out of the cut to correct its line. It can be said that the shorter lengths are much more similar to the 186´ in character. It has a completely new bending curve that is much more racial than before but with a rocker curve that is more forgiving. You could say that they are sharper than the previous model but more forgiving.
