K2 Talkback 96 (2020)

As the widest ski in the women’s touring line, the Talkback 96 is the ski to reach for when the snow in the backcountry is deep and stable. Like the rest of the Backside line, we wanted to keep the weight to a minimum to allow you to go farther faster than ever before, so we used our Paulownia Tour Lite core to keep the ski snappy and quick. And while weight was a focus on the 96, we really wanted to build a ski that has the feel and power of an alpine ski for precision descents and stable handling. To this end, we added titanal and carbon to stiffen the flex without sacrificing the nimbleness of a softer flexing ski. The overall result is a ski that ascends with ease and descends with precision and confidence.
