Liberty Helix (2008)

A big fat twin for backcountry and big mountain skiing. Three bamboo stringers are laminated within the poplar core to create a tough and light core that has excellent energy return. The bamboo/poplar core makes for a very light ski that has plenty of pop. The Helix additionally received a quadaxial fiber wrap to increase torsional rigidity to accommodate the wider width of the ski.The Helix has a P-Tex 4000 Electra sintered base, which is one of the fastest base material available in the industry.
