The Line Pandora 99 is an all-mountain ski for experienced skiers who want to ski the whole mountain, regardless of snow conditions. The 99 mm waist is in the middle of the classic all-mountain span and provides a good combination of edge grip on hard surfaces and sufficient support in looser snow. A light rocker in the nose and tail together with span underfoot provides both float in softer snow and secure grip when you push on the piste.
The core consists of a lightweight aspen construction with veneer, built to feel snappy, light and direct underfoot. The low weight makes it easy to change edges, while the construction dampens vibrations and gives a calmer feel at higher speeds. The ski has a clearly directional shape, which benefits skiers who enjoy a traditional forward position and want good support throughout the turn.
The sidewall is heavily dimensioned and goes deep into the core and over the steel edges. It provides better durability when in contact with rocks, railings and other hard surfaces, while concentrating pressure towards the edge for a more secure grip on hard terrain. Five different turning radii run along the side curve, which makes the ski feel supple and easy to control in both shorter and longer turns, without feeling locked.
The flex pattern is softer in the nose and stiffer in the back. The softer front helps the ski float up in soft snow and makes it easier to initiate the turn. The stiffer rear provides more support, power and stability when you load the ski through the turn or go faster. Together, this creates a ski that is both pushable and playable, on piste, off-piste and in more technical terrain.
The construction uses bioresin instead of conventional resin, which reduces carbon dioxide emissions in production by up to 20% per pair, without changing the properties of the ski itself.
