Salomon QST Lumen 99 (2020)

This year's QST 99 Lumen takes the recipe for success from previous year models and develops it further. There is still a ski with more tip rockers than tail rockers, recessed cutting and sandwich construction. What is new for this year is a completely new shape that provides softer turn initiation and better flow. In addition, a further development of the C / FX fabric is used, which now contains more carbon fiber than before. The tip and tail now have a cork damplifier that is three times more damping than previously used material and together with Basalt, this makes this version of QST the most stable and damped to date. Where Lux is best on harder snow and Stella has the best flow of the three, Lumen is the combination of the two and is therefore excellent as the only ski in Sweden.
