A new model from German Völkl in sandwich construction with metal and wooden core guarantees a really speed-stable and safe piste ski. The modern FLAIR 78 of course has a tip & tail rocker to simplify the start in each turn and the widest possible binding attachment Wideride XL guarantees maximum power transmission in each turn. FLAIR 79 has slightly wider dimensions for handling run-up slopes and easier off-piste, so it is often included in the so-called All Mountain category.
