The Bear Trap is actually the name of the area. There are endless beautiful chutes to take down.
Start by jumping off to the left in the hotel lift. Then, stay as high up on the skier's right as you can, past the last marked runs. You can also hike out to maintain a higher line. It's really the same thing here; when you get out into the area and find the line, DROP IT! The further out you go, the tighter the trees become further down.
It's a good idea to stay relatively close to the ski area. Even though there are a couple of long, nice chutes far out, it can get really tricky at the end. Recommended only if you know the woods at the bottom...
You will come down to the road that passes the hotel towards Norway. So, you can just make your way back to the hotel from there. If you stay close to the ski area, you might be able to catch the transport if you start to traverse left at the end of the run.

You ski outside controlled areas at your own risk. Use and practice with your safety equipment. Inform yourself about the current, local conditions. Hire a mountain guide for better and safer skiing at the summit and backcountry. Have fun on the mountain and the courage to turn around when the risks are too great. Safe turns!
