Strengths:
Good for long people.
Separate compartment for spade and probe.
The design of the water system.
Big hip belt pockets.
The design of the hip belt.
Large top box.
The opening of the main compartment.

Weaknesses:
The opening of the main compartment.
Something pale buckle on the hip belt.

Summary:
I have been using my Switch 25 + 5 for almost two weeks now and am quite satisfied. The big strength I think is that it is available in three different lengths (or rather heights), Small, Medium and Large. This allows you to find the bag that suits one's length. A recomendation is to go to Ospreys website (http://www.ospreypacks.com) and click on their guide for any size (myself I'm 186cm tall and have chosen Large).

The opening of the main compartment is both good and evil. Plus, to open the bag without having to put down the backside in the snow, but minus because it's a bit petty to access the bottom of the bag. The big top compartment holds a lot. No problem having the camcorder with some accessories there. The preparation of the water system is completely superbly designed. The hose is in an insulated channel in one shoulder strap. The distinction with some other similar solutions is that you can open the canal all the way down to the actual water bag when removing or loading it. The hose is well protected and showed no freezing tendencies at a day out of minus 15 degrees.

The waist for the hip belt is too small in my opinion. When you're wearing the back in a chairlift, for example, and wearing gloves it's a bit ridiculous to find the buckle and open / close it, but it may be a habit. Overall, I think it's a good backpack (especially for long people) that is good and slim on the back.

Strengths:
Also likes solution with spade and probe mm on the outside.
Visselpipan on the chest strap. (discovered it only after a few weeks)
The hip belt is good and with a practical pocket on it.

Weaknesses:
Something expensive.

Summary:
A perfect backpack for those who want water systems (I bought myself for Camelpack) and only make day trips.

Sitting just as well as you wish. A given purchase. Never encountered a better bag
