Designed as a ski specific piece for the backcountry, the Rush jacket strategically combines two different GORE-TEX® Pro fabrics to provide durability in high abrasion areas and wearable comfort elsewhere. The N40p-X GORE-TEX® Pro body combines protection with lightweight performance, and hardwearing N80p-X GORE-TEX® Pro reinforcements at the hood and shoulders protect from cuts and abrasion. Arc’teryx Ergonomic 3-Dimensional (e3D) patterning brings a remarkably efficient level of articulation that gives the Rush Jacket a high level of freedom on uptracks and descents with allowance for maximum winter layers.

Strengths:
Durable, windproof, virtually waterproof, light and stylish in shape. The hood is large enough to accommodate a proper helmet, but can at the same time be tightened and controlled properly with a variety of laces - and most important of all: the hood can be attached so well that it follows your main movements so as not to block the field of view.
If the hood is properly tightened, you can bathe in snow without anything penetrating.
The pockets on the jacket are well placed and allow access with the backpack on without stray. Good and big dump pocket on the inside.
The zipper does not go off at first - really big.
Weaknesses:
The snow lock's ski panty fastening system seems to be proprietary (fits only on Arc'teryx pants).
