Manufacturers description
The Lavancher style has a workwear-inspired design. The Lavancher Jacket is a two-layer Gore-Tex free-skiing jacket with light insulation in the sleeves and front panels. By removing the insulation from the back panels of the jacket, we have reduced the risk of overheating caused by wearing back protection or a backpack. This and all its other well-thought-through details make Lavancher a favourite for mechanized skiing, both on and off piste. Lavancher (avalanche in Chamonix’s local dialect) is an easily accessed off-piste ski run on the north face of Grands Montets in Chamonix that you can get to without hiking.

Strengths:
Good hood, working with a helmet, Sweet Trooper is perfect fit, you can turn your head with the hood over the helmet, a little more than medium iaf.
Lined arms and front, cool in the back. In the back there is no lining without the back guard taking over that function.
Absolutely the right fabric in comfort, soft and go around the neck and the right material in the fabric outside, no praise in -25.
Good ventilation.

Weaknesses:
Wished to have a removable snow cover.

Summary:
Yes, after 10 days and 20 miles in walking tempo, I have come to the conclusion that this is my best jacket so far.
A perfect blend between a pure shell jacket and a lined. Elevenate has found a beautiful blend of pure function and appearance, the small stripes in the details are whole course, a little piece of rock; ) Have had a lot of ski jackets over the years and this is a jacket that fits perfectly for driving in temperatures around 0 to -15 along with stock 1 in marino wool and for top trips. I'm sick with the jacket:)
