Strengths:
Warm, thin, endurable, cosy, friendly, not sweaty when warm, don´t get cold when wet, my best friend for years!

Weaknesses:
Price But you get the top of the notch isolation...
Inner pocket is to deep and things end up beside each other in the inner and outer pocket. Not optimal for glasses.
It´s not canvas and if you're heading for the bushes with wild roses, raspberry's etc you need a better shell jacket for protection but if you're not born in concrete cradle you'll understand that already.

Summary:
Just get one. It´s just a fantastic jacket/isolation jacket. With a sweater under you are comfy down to freezing point or even -5 celsius if you walking. For sitting still you need fleece or wool under if it´s frosty/snowing/drinking beer at the top cabin.

Strengths:
Long sleeves, soft

Weaknesses:
Wrinkled, somewhat fragile, slightly crunchy appearance with the hood on

Summary:
Down-free is a stylish jacket that I use both as a reinforcement garment for outdoor activities but also as an outer jacket in town. What struck me the first time I tried it on is that the material is sickly soft and it was a joy to wear it over the arms. I think the color Hazel is nice, but you have to handle being called the man/woman with the gold jacket if you're going to buy it.

If you're a real gram hunter, you'll probably think it's a bit heavy, 426 g in Large in the men's model, but it's nothing noticeable except for UL hiking. The sleeve length is fantastic and I, who am 190 cm, finally get rid of the problem of too short sleeves. With this length, it's enough even when you're leaning over a bicycle handlebar, and both there and on the ski slope you avoid pulling around your wrists. At the back of the hood there is a drawstring to adjust, the hood is tightened well on the inside which is not visible on the outside (unlike the hood of Houdini's shell jacket)!

The model in the pictures here on Freeride does not completely correspond to my slightly newer model, mine has hidden elastic in the cuffs, see picture. The jacket can be packed in its own inner pocket - very convenient when you take it as a reinforcement garment in your backpack. Posting pictures of how big it is unpacked, not so small actually - less melon size rather than orange. The hood is as well insulated as the rest of the jacket and the fit unfortunately makes you look a bit funny with the hood on. The fabric is very wrinkle-prone, so after compression you have to pull with a wrinkle party. The zipper tends to get caught in the fabric all around if you don't hold it out when you pull it up. I think SEK 3,200 is an insanely high price for a mid-layer jacket, but it also doesn't stand out from corresponding models from other brands. Have found a lot of small wire ends sticking out to cut off unfortunately.

If you compare it to, for example, the Fjällräven Expedition Pack Down Hoodie, which was the jacket I looked at the most apart from Downfri, I think Fjällräven's outer fabric feels more durable, with Downfri I'm a bit fussy about what I lean towards. At the same time, the Fjällrävens are also heavier, so it's a compromise. I was afraid Downfri would be colder compared to Fjällräven's jacket, which has 110 grams of 700 CUIN down compared to 100 grams of Primaloft Gold, but I think the synthetic filling holds up well. Maybe extra good because Downfri doesn't need any channels over the jacket, but the insulation feels more like a large piece of blanket draped over you. It's also great that you get this far without picking down from birds.

Strengths:
Warm, easy looking. Easy to ventilate if you get hot.

Weaknesses:
The fabric is quite so delicate / thin. Strange fit on the hood, you look like an idiot in it when it's over the head ,, it's kind of a round hole around the face :)
The matrial in the fabric / primitive floor tends to easily absorb sweat, you can wear it after a gym visit without smelling ape the following day, no wool here :)

Summary:
Stylish, light and warm simply

Strengths:
A warm, yet lightweight and thin jacket that works to basically everything. I have used it as a reinforcement under the jacket during really cold days on the mountain, on cooler summer or late night evenings and as a winter jacket in the city. It's optimal in all modes - if it's too hot, just open the long zippers to the pockets and it will be a nice ventilation straight through, as there is only a thin mesh lining on the inside of the pocket. The jacket is fully windproof and withstands water better than expected. Cloudy and light sheds are absolutely no strings. In the case of tougher rain the outer layer becomes wet through but the lining keeps the majority of the moisture out and you do not feel wet on the inside. Intricate in its inner pocket, it becomes small enough to have a smaller (about 20L) backpack while being large enough to serve as a comfortable (smaller) pillow. For the environmentally conscious, it is also recyclable.

Weaknesses:
- A little worried to get together the zipper in the first month before it was "inbound" - no further fusses thereafter.

-Thanks to outer layers that probably do not tolerate a lot of strings, but it is not strange for this type of jacket because it will be smooth to collapse. I have used it quite properly without reducing it to date, but you should be careful about steel edges and the like for natural reasons.

Summary:
Very affordable high quality jacket that works clockwise for all it's intended for and a bit more.
