Actually, this jacket may be a bit "overkill" for the normal skier. Strong material straight through makes it quite heavy and clumsy. However, with unmatched fit and mobility, it actually makes you almost never notice it. The new design, and above all the new solution with the pockets on the chest is much better than the previous one. On the previous model, the pockets put in another way that created a lot of "bulk" in the middle of the chest. I also like the fully sealed pocket with Gore Tex on all sides, taped and with waterproof zipper, it has probably saved my phone a couple of times! Another unique feature is the "gälarna" which actually have a good function, partly reducing the ice formation in the hood, and the exhalation air detours away from my Goggles and, therefore, they do not easily recoil them. The only thing really mined with this jacket is the solution with the fixed elastic in the back, as iofs has a very good function, but unfortunately the jacket becomes much lighter, it creates an "ank-tail". I made a small hole in the channel from the inside and cut off the elastic band ..

In short, the jacket is very affordable for its $ 4900, but unnecessarily powerful if you are doing a lot of hiking and peak trips.
