Marmot Alpinist Lightweight Jacket

A good two / three-layer jacket. Goodbye, you're good at getting a little "gubbmage". Unfortunately, the two-layer fabric is heavily impregnated and not as dull as the color reinforcements on the jacket. The hood is mediocre, works in rain and debris, but is not in the top class. The snow lock has only two push buttons with a slip, sew in a piece of velcro strap so it becomes dense.
All in all, a good jacket but I would probably recommend a three-storey instead.

1998 model: Very light and nice jacket with the required ventilation capability under the arms. The zipper is a little clumsy and left-handed which is minus. Likewise, the pockets of the pockets are not suitable for "glove control" but you can easily solve a bit of coarser laces. Have used my jacket for almost 3 years and it's almost as nice. Marmont does quality even if it costs.
