I've been using this for a while, and it works well, but best with a laptop and map application.
A cord between computer and GPS can be bought for about 100: - on www or 700; - in outdoor shop (one of the most commonly used ...) map programs you can get from any internet-savvy mate or buy expensive somewhere.
Agrees with previous reviewers that elevation data is not as accurate.
Smooth and good, a big minus is the color! It's green, just like the terrain is often.
Once we were looking for 1 hour after it was in the light of the light (the more expensive models are more colorful) put on a colorful band immediately to avoid losing it!

+ price, size, weight, ease of use.
- No map, poor altitude precision, clumsy navigation on turning routes and adding waypoints.
Overall, badly good. Will be interesting to test battery capacity when it gets cold!
