Manufacturers description
KRYPTON 130 ID is Dalbello's toughest Cabrio model. A really serious free-riding shoe with 98mm reading width in full PU plastic for maximum power transmission and the patented Cabrio construction with a separate flex tongue for optimal progressive flex. Of course, the DynaLink center buckle is not attached to the cuff but straight down into the shell to ensure constant contact with the foot and optimal heel grip regardless of the cuff's movement. All models in the Krypton series are designed to individualize the boot to the maximum: the market's largest range of adjustable flex, angle adjustment both forward and sideways and 3 different hardnesses of the shock-absorbing nylon tongue are available. This together with the market's warmest and 100% malleable foam inner shoe ID Pro with hard density in so-called wrap construction which gives double layers of malleable material in the inner shoe against the tibia. Reading width: 98mm, Flex 110-150

Strengths:
I have been skiing Kryps since they first came out. Just a great fitting boot.I own 3 pair from various years

Weaknesses:
honestly since spending years hacking around in a variety of ski boots finding these wad a revelation.

Summary:
Never buy a boot based on someone else's recommendation. Spend an afternoon trying on different boots. Pay attention to flex, weight and fit. For me these hit every want.
