Strengths:
Nice flex and comfortable feel but still very good control. For many years my number one boot choice.
Weaknesses:
Really only missing tech-inserts, Gripwalk and gåläge. But I have acquired other boots for that.
Summary:
Very good boot.

Strengths:
Very good fit. At the same time very easy to get in and out of. Smooth and constant flex. That can be changed by changing the flex plate. But I think the organ is about 120-130, which suits me perfectly. The spikes can be adjusted and tightened very accurately (milimeter). Boots are lighter compared to other boots.
Weaknesses:
Ice formation in the lower extremity. Experienced this a few times after many incoming and outgoing helicopters.
Experience after two seasons: Some serious problems with the voltages. At times they lock in a certain position and make it impossible to tense up. Have also experienced problems (that they smoke).
Summary:
I have tried many boots without being completely satisfied. And had decided for custom. But then I tried this last fall, and then it was bought. Have used the boots in Canada on heliskiing a week in January. And the boots are set as cast. I can have them on foot all day without having to solve it. Highly recommended.
But it is important that you get warmed up and fit the inner boots in the store. Without it, there may be some painful days before the boots are adequately adapted to the feet.
Experience after two seasons: The "Buckle" problems are so serious that I can not recommend the purchase of these boots.
I have also been in contact with FT customer support, acknowledging that they have such problems. Without being responsible for or correcting them. This underlines that one should stay far away.
