Strengths:
Good fit, space for for insoles, good overlap for snow protection, buckles are cool.
Weaknesses:
The boot broke, soft for 140 flex.
Summary:
I bought them from evo about half price, broke one of them, now I have what I payed for.
evo does not accept manufacture defects as a return.
K2 has replied to my email with these photos and says they are in the busy season and will reply in 5-7 days, 17 days ago.

Model year: 2023
Strengths:
Handsome
Powerstrap
Power plate
Really good inner shoe
Easy
Easy to put on thanks to k2's construction in the step
Moldable shell and inner shoe
Weaknesses:
K2 says they have a slim fit with 98-leg but think it feels more like a 100-leg
Cannot be used with gripwalk soles
Summary:
A boot that breathes full-oh-unconscious and should be the best-looking one on the market?
I have driven this boot for about 3 seasons and it has absolutely not disappointed me. For me, these are a pair of high-performance boots that are so close to racing stuff but still light and maybe don't require as much tinkering to get them to fit, a bit like a shop racer?
So, this shop racer is a 140 flex, but it is thanks to the included powerplate that gives 10 more in flex, this man can move up and down to change shaft height. So basically the Recon Pro is a 130 boot with an extra shaft piece. Having said that, I think it feels a little softer in action than on paper but responds well and gives a nice power transfer. Despite many skiing days in the luggage, the quality has responded well, no broken buckle, no paint scratches on the buckles or the like. Of course, the black PU contributes to the fact that scratches on the plastic are particularly visible, but you have to accept that!
In summary, the Recon Pro is a boot for those who want a combination of full-ös-unconsciousness with comfort and low weight that becomes one's best friend during the long days on the mountain.
Size: 27.5, feels very true to size!
