Manufacturers description
Freestyle boot with gait mode and dynafit pin system. With an option to angle the shaft up to 23 degrees both backwards and forwards, the skier has an extra large range of motion when walking up the mountain. Thanks to a shaft construction partly in carbon fiber, the power is maintained despite the great mobility. A boot that should work both up and down must combine comfort, strength and above all - low weight. By using three different types of material in the shell, Nordica has succeeded in making Strider, 20 percent lighter than the corresponding boot. Nordica has replaced traditional PU material with Grilamid, a polyamide plastic that, in addition to its low weight, also retains its properties in low temperatures. For the best grip on snow, ice and rock, Nordica and Michelin have developed a completely new outsole for Strider.

Strengths:
A good boot that is really stiff but still comfortable
Can be used for demanding piste skiing and for shorter top tours
With the walk mode and grip walk sole, you avoid slipping when you walk in it
Good heel grip

Weaknesses:
A little too heavy for demanding summit tours
Feels a little softer than my old Tecnica Icon120 boot

Summary:
Have had my Striders for two years and am completely satisfied with them
Changed the sole to one with a higher hole foot and had them heated so now finally have a boot that comes up in the same heel grip as my old Salomon SX90.
Have done a few shorter top tours and there they work really well.
This is a good hybrid boot, but if you spend most of your time walking uphill, it's probably a bit heavy.
It works really well on piste and there are no problems getting good pressure on the ski even on icy surfaces

If you are looking for a stiff boot that can be used both as a piste boot and for top tours, it is an excellent choice
I can also recommend it to those who stick to the piste.

Cruel fit. Sits like a cast. Comfortable. Easy. Good walk position. Good rubber sole.

Weaknesses:
Somewhat difficult entry and exit.

Do not think you can find a much better boot.
