Scarpa Denali XT

Strengths:
I have had the opportunity to use Scarpa Denali XT as well as previous variants for several years.
The model gets better and better for each upgrade.
The Scarpa Denali XT is warm and the comfort is superb.
I have used the pants both in work and private and never had a problem.
This is a workhorse when it comes to randonee pants

Weaknesses:
Can be anything too soft.
Easy to handle with carbon fiber on the inside of the boot.

Summary:
Are you looking for a comfortable pants that you will spend several days skiing days, I recommend the hot Scarpa Denali XT.

Initially, Denali XT got a button 2a of me but after various fine adjustments (drilled extra holes in the metal bit above the heel etc.) they actually work really well nowadays. The only option if you prize the ride still will last for a long time, especially if you are expected to walk on bare rocks and the like.

Have never had any other Randone jackets than these, but I think I can give an ok review anyway.
The reason I bought them was that I wanted to prioritize the yoke down the road up and chose the hardest randone jerseys that I found in the belief that it would be the same feeling as skiing with alpine pants. As it turned out, it seems to me that if you choose to go up with randonne, you will eliminate the alpine feeling in total. So there is no need to buy a pair of hard pants, but it is better to turn on a softer variant. It's not when you go skiing, as it becomes clear what kind of pants you use, but it's when the skis go off and you have to go without them.
