Strengths:
All possible adjustments, foot arch lift is super great, very durable; it seems they doesn't age at all if you take good care of them

Weaknesses:
for me none

Summary:
I've been a licensed international ski instructor for 30 years. Always this same boots, "mileage" well over 1000 skiing days. Everything in perfect working order, inner boot no signs of age and wear. I spent hours in them without loosening them once, never sore feet.

For me, this are the perfect boots, they don't make them like this any more.

Strengths:
Excellent fit, support, durability, features, design.

Weaknesses:
Absolutely none as to skiing in them.

Summary:
I told my wife I would buy boots that were a step down from the top of the line performance level to save some money. So I tried on the one below the Icon TNT. Not quite the boot I was looking for. Tried on the Icon TNT. As soon as I slipped my foot into it, I looked at her and said: BINGO!! this is it! It was the most expensive of the Technica line, but I couldn't help it, I had to buy that boot. That was in 2004. I'm still skiing in them (about 45 days a season), they began to crack about 4-5 yrs ago, so luckily I found a used pair in great shape today Jan/2026) & bought them.

Strengths:
controll

Weaknesses:
my skiing

Summary:
I can wear these all day and often no even loosen them up during lunch. They fit my feet so well that the only thing that moves is a slight wiggle in the toes. Rock solid performance and I don't care how difficult they are to get off and on in the cold. Performance necessitates some sacrifice just like dynamic high performance skiing requires a lot of work. Looking foreward to season 20

Strengths:
Just a perfect (for my feet) skiboot. A little bit of extra padding for better heal grip.

Weaknesses:
Hmm, what can I say, the boot has not been the limiting part. 😀

Summary:
Now they will be after 20+ years, replaced by a younger version. Hope they will last as long and give me the same joy as the old ones.
Thank you Stefan J at Alpingaraget for your great support.

Strengths:
Durability and stiff firm fit. Offers great control.

Weaknesses:
Difficult to get on when cold - best to warm them up beforehand.

Summary:
Served me well for 20+ years. Heal plate breaking down now, desperately hoping I can find some replacements…

Strengths:
Nice and stiff, fits my wide and high instep feet very well. Still going strong after 20 years - one new inner iffted about 8 years ago.

Weaknesses:
They are a bugger to get on when cold, you need a long shiny shoe horn. Better still keep them warm overnight to make sure that putting them on does not sap your energy for the day. I've a routine now, so not a problem. :-)

Summary:
Once on, I'm happy to keep the straps at full ski setting all day, that's how comfortable they are. But lean into them, and the transmission to the front edge is FAB. I hope they last forever! PS: Guessing that their year of manufacture...

Strengths:
Very precise power transmission, very comfortable, yet stiff and good guidance with
good width -100mm at the footbed- and with room for a high instep.
Can be almost locked in flex by simple adjustment - for icy conditions at high speeds.
Can be preheated electrically.

Weaknesses:
If the shell has cooled down and your socks may be slightly damp, it is actually impossible to put them on, so be sure to warm them up or put them on straight out of the car with fresh socks.

Summary:
With, and even before my Lange ZT from 1979 - at that time the first ski boots with thermoformed liners - they are the best alpine downhill boots I have ever had. Still in use, just like the Lange in certain conditions.
All the other boots before and in between were given away, and now a pair of Dynafit Radicals have been added as touring ski boots.
They have been in use for well over 20 years and work like the first day.

In the pictures after use today, disassembled to dry out for tomorrow's use

Strengths:
Fantastic boot for at least 18 years

Weaknesses:
Super rigid shell. Difficult to walk in and even difficult to get out of the foot when the boot is cold

Summary:
A wonderful boot for at least 18 years, but last week I broke one boot. The lower plastic pin on the shin came off. So now it's time to find new ones. Breath and moan.
