Strengths:
Incredibly good skiing - the best I'll go anywhere. Offpist samples floating on top of all types of snow even broken offpist becomes easy-going. Although it is so wide, it pays surprisingly well. It does not flutter at high speed and it has a good grip through all turns.

Weaknesses:
This is definitely a ski for us who like off piste. If you only drive in the piste, there are many other skis that are better

Summary:
I have been skiing for about 25 years. Went a season and after that about two weeks each season in the Alps. Drive 80% telemark and 20% slalom. Have tested over 30 pairs of different skis. Atomic Automatic is the pure-cut off piste ski, which, thanks to its fat width 140 mm at the top, gives you unrivaled flow in both cushions and different types of broken snow that also works very well in the piste. It is really stable in the piste even at the right speed. All other fat offpiste skiing I've tried has been flattery in the piste.

I'm 193 cm tall and weighs 90 kilos and have bought the 186 cm version of Atomic Automatic

I paid 750 euros of binding and have never been so happy with a ski run

Riding style: Off piste 80% of the time
Length on the ski: 186 cm
Riders weight: 90 kg
Riders length: 193 cm

Strengths:
Playful, witty, lightweight, relatively low weight.

Weaknesses:
A little short swing radius in the solder, as long as it is not superfluffy. When you go down the tail properly while a large part of the front part, the reversed cutting that could balance it all, is in the air. As a result, the ski will turn more than I want. Nor is the best ski when it's up. Compare with K2 Sidestash 174cm which I think is better in these areas.

Summary:
Very nice skiing, a good compromise. Wanted more playful than Sidestash and I got it.

Model year: 2013
Riding style: pistons, pillows
Length on the ski: 179 cm
Riders weight: 70 kg
Riders length: 170 cm

Strengths:
Great edge grip in hard pit and, to my surprise, one of the funniest skis to carve with which I went on.
Well, it has a good flow of cushions (but it was as expected) of a wide, relatively soft skid with heavy rocks.
Despite their width, they feel very easy (even though I have the Duke EPF on mine) and turn on a femur ring.

Weaknesses:
This is a ski that, according to me, would benefit from a little more dampening in itself, it is very nice on all levels, but tends to feel a little nervous when it's uncomfortable.
A little harder flex in might offer some playfulness but also make it more allround.

Summary:
Adds this review as a supplement to my earlier because I have now been on the ski in very mixed conditions with, among other things, an alp week containing 40cm cushions, windpack, ripened ... etc.

Top scores in cushions and pist but lack some stability in varied uneven offpiste.
Pulling down the grade one step, it's a very funny slide, but for full pot I would like to see a little more dampening and maybe a little harder flex.

Strengths:
A ski that feels vibrant and invites you to a little jumping and playing, while it is one
really fun skiing to carve in the piste and keep the grip on cutting even when it gets hard and a bit icy.
The swing radius feels perfect for Swedish mountains and probably does not get lost on bigger mountains either.
The ski feels incredible allround.

Weaknesses:
When it begins to go really fast and you'll be slowing down the speed on hard surfaces, it will be a bit broader.
May feel a bit soft when you do not drive on a cutting edge (good and bad).

Summary:
Have been skiing on the ski 2 days in Vemdalen in only pistachio and quite hard and it imparted all my expectations for such a wide-range ski on tougher surfaces.
Unbelievably easy-going ski, which has a wide range of records, ranging from a little play and jumping to high-speed carving, and retaining the edge of the ice spots when it's rained up in the afternoons.
Has the 186cm version mounted on the Team line and it feels quite right for me, do not think the 193 had been felt to be too big, but the 186cm (184.2cm straight tape) is also not too short but just smooth and fun.
It is possible to drive neutral to sleepers / larger turns or with crushing pressures to get it in a shorter turn.
Compared to many skis without tailrocks, you have to look up a bit so you do not end up in the backseat but it's nothing that I experience as a problem.
Later to try it out in the sneeze where I am convinced it will be wonderful.

As a reference, I have (besides the skiing days) mainly been riding Sidestash and Purple Haze in the last few years, and the Automatic is much more playful and a little less subdued than the ones without sacrificing too much stability in carving.
Helldorado I drove in the 193cm version for years and it was very stable and nice for its size, but it lacks playfulness and feels most like it wants to play freight trains in really big turns compared to Automatic

Model year: 2013
Riding style: Always try to go offpiste if it is possible to find softer snow, but otherwise it will be carving in a piste.
