This combination means that these skis perform superbly at high speed without loss of manoeuvrability or sportiness. Lighter and a little more supple than the universal Atris, the Atris Birdie is the favourite choice of women freeriders who want skis that are effective in all conditions, on hard and deep snow alike.

Strengths:
Surfable if rear-mounted
Witty
Soft and playful

Weaknesses:
None, may need to be rear mounted depending on your riding style.

Summary:
I love them! One-quiver, but may lack a pair of narrower ones for really hard-blown top rides.
Absolutely superb in powder, BUT only after I remounted them -1 cm from recommended, before they appeared like torpedoes.
Have them for telemark, but think they are just as fun for alpine.

Model year: 2017
Riding style: All.
Length on the ski: 178 cm
Riders weight: 80 kg
Riders length: 173 cm

Strengths:
Stable, fast, forgiving

Weaknesses:
Somewhat heavy

Summary:
I love my Atris Birdie almost all the time. They are fast and make me look better than I am. They ignore all humps and run their own race. In pillows they are a dream and surf like they did not have any tomorrow.

The only time I don't love them is on narrow forest paths that the rest of the family has a preference for riding. Then I wish I bought a few shorter ones.

Black Crow's Atris Birdie is made for playful light riding among large mountains. The ski has a wooden core of poplar which gives a nice resilience and has been formed with a rocker profile that turns traditional span under the foot with rocker both front and back. Atris Birdie has a progressive tip rise that is guaranteed to keep you afloat when dumped.

Emma: - This is the best record I have gone on in this test, and also otherwise maybe. It is great fun and gives a lot back to. You still have to work to have a wonderful experience with it. It is not a ski that you go fishing with, but it gives so much back when you are on both inside and outside piste. You can still play around on it, it is playful but still stable. Stable and really cruel. There are reasons why it is a bestseller. A sunny fifth! Rating 5.
