Although the ski is fat you can realy carve with this ski, quick turns, big G-turns, everything. Gut edge controll (torsion stabillity is great). Off-Piste is one big adraline kick !! even in the worst snow condition you controll the ski, not the otherway around. Solid and Nice wood core construction

Not for Telemark beginners. I couldn't find a weak spot...

If you want to have one pair of ski, The kilowat is the right choice. You can do everything with him, Touring, piste, Off-Piste. The weight is ok for suchs a fat ski.

I ski the deep powder in Idaho. I was surprised. I used 185's, I weigh 225lbs, ski patrol. Nothing that this ski can't do, ski the shutes, steep and deep, very responsive. I did not try them on spring time ice, but then again, that is what I wanted them for. Mosat fun ski I have ever tried. Bindings were Fritchie freerede plus.

They chatter a bit on high speed carves and are a little bit flexible for hard pack which doesn't allow the edge to really dig in too well.
