Strengths:
-Great easy to get around on a femur in pillows
-Canonian in forest skiing
-Good pop in the ski, it's a pleasure to drip
-Good flowing in pillows, hovering forward and very predictable and playful
-Favorably speed loss
Weaknesses:
-Find better skis if it's crowded I can imagine, not tested though
-No "meats" skis for broken and troublesome offpiste like my 05/06 gotamas even though they are not perceived as unstable
-Good and safe in the piste and carvar fine in long sweeping turns but is more secure than "carving pop" in the turns
Summary:
Have a pair of FR16 mounted (Duke) which, of course, gives a higher position on the skid, which, in addition, has the ability to reconnect when just the binding will change "track" and they will be completely impossible to get to the tear-off position.
In my other quiver are gotama 05/06 and nordica blower as well as mad_trix mojo in this ski class. Also drove next year's 08/09 Brad Holmes Elan Poga-Holmes skis the same day which they are mostly tested against.
Because the skis are very soft in the tail they are really fun to pop around with, overall very good pop in the skate that is very playful in the offpiste. Have never skied with these measures that are so incredibly easy to lay around on a femur, a dream in the woods, just to lean back a bit and you get around in zero space. Very well balanced in the offpiste and it carries very well for its measurements. Such a ski that does just the way you want without having to give it too much power even though it can withstand hard riding.
Passed on dropping some rocks and they were easy to pick up in landings, dropping no higher than 4 meters during the week though.
The skis have a little run-in period, I thought they felt a little dead at first, but I'm not used to driving rando bindings, which surely recorded.
The score is based on 1 week in the test sail with constant snowfall and knee off offpist all week, imagine that they are not as exciting in the absence of crowds.
